I am a data scientist working in the field of oncology. The main aim of my work is information retrival from medical images to further support clinical decision making. For this, I am working on new learning-based methods to allow new applications, but also actively cooperating with medical partners to apply these methods in the clinical routine.
Clinical Reserach Interests
Most of my previous work dealed with questions related to Glioblastoma multiforme, a severe form of brain tumors, but is not limited to this. It covers questions related to the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, of patients with cancer.
Most of the projects I am working on are related to medical imaging, with a strong background in MR imaging, but also experience with CT images.
